Dana Cohen, LCSW
Dana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Master’s in Social Work at Barry University in 1994. She began her career assisting older adults in a hospital-rehabilitation setting focused upon patient recovery and adjustment. She later worked as a case manager providing both clinical and advocacy services in a variety of settings including nursing homes, assisted living communities and private residences. Dana then served as Director of Quality Assurance for a large Florida nursing home diversion program ensuring that older adults received high quality care in diverse settings. Dana’s experience also includes working in psychiatric hospitalization programs focusing on psychotherapy interventions to help those coping with mental and emotional difficulties. Her real passion is working with older adults and their loved ones. Dana offers individual, family, and group counseling for Senior Home Counseling & Advocacy, Inc. in the Palm Beach County area.

Lori Blackman, LCSW
Lori is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in the states of Florida and California, and obtained her Master’s in Social Work at Florida International University in 2000. She has worked in a hospital setting providing case management and support to patients and their families. In addition, she has worked for several hospice agencies providing bereavement counseling to families with end of life issues. Lori has worked in the field of home health for many years providing psychosocial assessments and resources to meet the needs of her patients and their families. She has worked as part of an interdisciplinary team to assure continuity of care for her patients. Lori has worked in a variety of settings including nursing homes, assisted living communities and private residences. Lori's experience also includes being a Clinical Director for a mental health community agency focusing on helping those coping with mental and emotional difficulties. Donna Arnone, LCSW-R
Donna earned her M.S.W degree from New York University in 1989. She is a native New Yorker and relocated to S. Florida a few years ago. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker both in Florida and New York. She has enjoyed an extensive career in both clinical and administrative positions for The New York State Office of Mental Health for 20 years. She remains passionate about mental health, public safety and in assisting people in preserving their independence and quality of life. She enjoys the wisdom of working with elder adults and hearing ‘their stories’. Ms. Arnone has implemented many evidenced-based practice initiatives, particularly with parent advocates and a grandparent initiative piloted by the Office of Mental Health. In an administrative role, she served as an Assistant Outpatient Compliance Specialist for The NYS Office of Mental Health, monitoring court ordered outpatient psychiatric services for high risk, non compliant adults in efforts to enhance treatment compliance and public safety. This role also involved program evaluation of all mental health providers licensed by The Office of Mental Health. In Florida, Ms. Arnone worked for a software company, revising a mental health application and training nationally to clinicians and paraprofessionals at VA facilities. She also worked at a children’s facility with children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders. She is an avid advocate for numerous causes. She loves learning and continues to pursue many areas of interest. Ms. Arnone is pleased to join Senior Home Counseling & Advocacy Inc.
Haydee Rodriguez, LCSW
Haydee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida and has earned her Master's Degree from the University of Puerto Rico and has worked on her Doctoral studies in Social Work at Barry University in Miami. Haydee began her career working as a Medical Social Worker for a county health clinic and nursing home. She was a social worker for a Foster Home Program for the geriatric and mentally ill, where her responsiblities included patient and family assessments and supervision of home personnel. She was a Psychiatric Social Worker for mental health centers in Peurto Rico and provided individual and family therapy, in addition to being a liason between patients and agencies. At Oakwood Mental Health Center, Haydee was a Case Manager, Geriatric Liason, and Inpatient Social Worker. She was a Acute Care Case Manager at Imperial Point Medical Center, where she completed assessments of patients and families to assist in discharge plannning and utilization reviews.
